Burgi in Dilsberg has room for up to ten guests. The very large terrace is made for long barbecue evenings and morning yoga.
The Finnish sauna is bigger and has its own rest room. Inside, floorboards, terrazzo, colour and a green sofa put everyone in a good mood. Dogs are welcome.
The story
The name comes from the fortress
In 2024 I had this house completely renovated. Under the glued-down floors and walls I found a wonderful floorboard floor, terrazzo and the old openings between rooms. I brought the house back, for the most part, to what was probably its original state. That was a joy.
The vision was a holiday house of a special kind, where people feel good and spend time with the ones they love. The house owes its name to the fortress above it.
Dining
Light blue walls, a green sideboard and a round table that can be extended. At mealtimes everyone moves closer together.
Kitchen
With a pink fridge and an orange rug. Cooking is fun here with several people.
Sleeping
Four bedrooms on three floors, from the quiet double room downstairs to the big attic room with wooden beams. Ten sleeping places: three double beds and four single beds, which can be pulled out into double beds in the attic.
We will add the exact bed arrangement (double and single beds per room) here.
Under the roof
Wooden beams, skylights and cosy beds under the slope of the roof. A place for everyone who likes it snug.
Sauna
A Finnish sauna made of light wood, in the covered annex right next to the house. Beside it, the small rest room with an open shower. Enough room for all of you.
Terrace and garden
The big terrace with its spiral staircase is the favourite place in summer: long barbecue evenings with a table and loungers, and room for yoga in the morning.

Only a 10-minute walk up to the fortress, with the most beautiful view. At the weekend, Café Goldrand is worth a visit.

Questions about Burgi
How many guests is Burgi for?
Up to 10 guests, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The dining table can be extended.
What is the sauna like?
A Finnish sauna with a rest room. It is bigger than at Feni and comes at no extra charge. Sauna infusions are provided.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, up to two dogs. Please wipe their paws before they come in, and dogs do not belong on sofas and beds. A bowl and an outdoor shower are provided. Please let me know briefly beforehand.
Can we celebrate?
Yes, you are welcome to spend a lovely time here and to celebrate. What matters is that you respect the house and the neighbours. The usual quiet hours apply from 11 pm.
What can you do on the terrace?
The terrace is very large: room for long barbecue evenings with everyone, for loungers and for yoga in the morning.
What is the ground floor like?
On the ground floor there are a bedroom with a double bed, a small toilet and the sauna shower. To reach the step-free shower, you go out of the door once and through the rest room. You reach the other bedrooms by stairs.
Is there a cot and a high chair?
Yes. Cots with bedding, a baby bath, high chairs and children’s tableware are available.
Where can we park? Can I charge my electric car?
You park in and in front of the garage. To charge an electric car, let me know and I will bring you the charger.
When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am. Arriving earlier or leaving later is possible on request.
What is the minimum stay?
Two nights. Around Christmas and during the summer holidays, longer minimum stays apply.
Can I cancel for free?
You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival.
